Instructor Profile

Languages Spoken: English, Pashto, Farsi, Dari

Countries Lived In: United States, Afghanistan

Born and raised in Afghanistan, I am a dedicated healthcare and behavioral health professional with over 15 years of experience in clinical research, healthcare education, and behavioral services. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and have spent the past three years working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), providing behavior-analytic services to children and adolescents with developmental disabilities.

In addition to my professional work, I teach medical terminology in Pashto, Farsi, and Dari, helping bridge language gaps for immigrant professionals entering the healthcare field. As an immigrant myself, I have firsthand experience overcoming cultural and linguistic challenges while adapting to a new country. This journey has fueled my passion for supporting immigrants and international professionals in achieving their goals.

I am inspired by the opportunity to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and empower them to navigate the U.S. healthcare system, access resources, and build successful, fulfilling careers.
